Yosemite in the Fall

This painting was painted from a photo I took while visiting Yosemite in the fall (actually the day after Thanksgiving!) It was a beautiful day with clear blue skies. This particular angle of Half Dome is the view from one of the creeks running nearby one of the trails. It was a less crowded trail which made for some great photographs of the gorgeous scenery.
